According to Don’s wishes his estate was sold at auction. All of the proceeds were donated to charity. He has not only enriched charities with his generosity, but his collections are now being enjoyed and appreciated by many in museums and private collections.

The auction was held over three days by Hurley Auctions. His vast gun collection was sold through a local gun shop. Below is just a sampling of the wonderful artifacts of American history that Don so treasured and enjoyed.
